Man Down

Lets get into a troubled man mind 

The problems he face , he is more happy when the day is over 

He wakes up every morning 

Family on his mind, he hustles and grinds 

Hardworking man , has plenty of skills , his current job

 

Gives him his last check

 

Now he is only working cheap labor , opens the check ,$400

He has 4 kids ,1 wife

He thinks "Damn! what I'm going to do for this life "

He looks and looks

 

Searching ,while finding himself knowledge with these books

 

Jobs judges his skin color

He gives up and search for knowledge in the streets

 

When he walks his head is pointing towards the ground

 

He tired of spinning going through these rounds

 

Public assistance he refuses

Because when the case gets close they be full of excuses

Come on ,he has 4 kids 1 wife

 

Time is ticking

 

He goes straight to the streets

 

Start selling nickels and dimes

 

Sold to an undercover cop and now he doing time

 

He only gave 3 dimes

 

Which is $30 of time

Flipped to 30 years in crime

 

Kids all grown up

 

Wife moved on

He sits here and think

One blink of an eye 

 

He is back to reality

 

In the lobby , waiting

 

Predicting his next steps

 

Interviewer walks in

 

"Hello, Mr.Johns tell me about yourself"

He says, "I am a hardworking man

 

Motived and determined

 

Willing to go 8 miles

Just for a smile"

Interviewer says, "Alright Mr. Johns you can stop right there, sign right here and we will start your files,

 you are hired on the spot , so quit your worrying and give me all you got" 

4 kids ,1 wife

No struggles, no worries and no pain

Now he can relax ,
