Incarcerated
We take advantage of our freedom
We crack jokes when we home ,we laugh
But once you in close doors and the keys are thrown
Who will you laugh with
Who will you joke with
Being incarnated for 16 years
Is being on survival mood
But most of you wouldn't know what that mean because you never experience it
Imagine being told what to do
Every night calling a nigga your boo
Or have to keep your head up and tell niggas what to do
Wake up every morning with so much fear
Hoping that your death isn't near
Visually seeing graphic torture
An opening of the chest
Praying that you won't end up like the rest
Imagine being an innocent man
Giving you 15 to life
The jail cell is where you stand
Imagine being left with your left hand
And getting cut through your neck
Because of your supposedly right hand man
We quick to judge the homies that all locked up
But they were the same ones that helped you when you was getting choked up
Not every man that's in jail
Are there because they failed
Open your eyes and appreciate what you got
Because freedom is not a guaranteed
